On arrival I will take a case history of your horse or dog. If there is a pre-existing musculoskeletal issue, I will need veterinary consent before I can proceed with treatment.
I will assess your animal's posture statically (when standing still) and watch them move in order to observe any lamenesses or gait asymmetries. If there is an undiagnosed lameness, I am legally required not to provide treatment and refer you back to your vet.
After a thorough assessment I will treat your animal through a combination of soft tissue massage, passive stretches, rehab exercises and electrotherapies as appropriate. Currently AF Vet Physio uses class 3B LASER and PEMFT to supplement manual techniques.
After the session I will provide a written report and prescribe rehab exercises as appropriate to the case.
I am available for additional support via messenger if you have any concerns or require additional information, during standard business hours. If I am unable to reply at the time I will get back to you as soon as possible
